Drawing on expertise in ethics, political philosophy, and long-term decision-making, Patrick helps organizations navigate the challenges posed by emerging technologies, societal change, and complex global risks. His work focuses on questions of power, responsibility, and justice, bringing rigorous philosophical analysis to the practical challenges facing leaders and institutions today.

Patrick has consulted for multinational companies on the ethical implications of unfolding future scenarios. His academic work is on social and political philosophy, with a special focus on the concept of global and intergenerational domination in the context of climate change.

He has served as Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the National University of Singapore, and as a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford’s Center for Ethics in Society after receiving his PhD from the University of Washington, Seattle.
